Poor management with too much focus on productivity!
Pros
Staff works very hard, put in lots of hours and time, and really devoted to the families and children they work for. Helpful supervision and administrative staff.
Cons
Pay is very low compared to other nonprofits. Health insurance isn't affordable for families or couples. Almost a third of my paycheck goes to health insurance. It's hard to make ends meet working here. There's so much pressure to produce billable hours. Manager who is always out sick and not flexible and that makes some work really hard to finish when waiting for her input and she puts a lot of demand and pressure on productivity and she gets demanding even if staff works hard and she wasn't even around to help or answer questions. I feel like a number and not valuable here. Agency is expanding and there are many new people getting hired but no pay increase at all, very frustrating.
