Great fitness concept but lacks data, accountability, and authority

Super cool concept and studio is great! A fitness concept that's easy to get behind. Loved the workouts. Was given lots of responsibility for studio (keys to open and close)
Cons
As with any franchise model, there are obvious opportunities for gaps between the corp brand's goals and how the local business operates- that said, neither one of them do a great job of explaining the science- which I found was something potential members craved. There seemed to be a general fear of sharing data, which of course, led to a general lack of accountability to the outcomes. In my time there, I saw LOTS of very dedicated and consistent people not see results and get discouraged. The Owner of the location I worked in also started moving away from certified Personal Trainers and towards training PTs through their internal program- which, in my perspective, coupled with the lack of studies and data further undermined their professional authority as Experts. Hopefully my experience with that particular studio was the outlier because I love the concept and there's definitely a market for it!
