1. Rampant nepotism. They will create unnecessary portions for relatives but can't do the same if a non-relative wants to change departments
2. No room for advancement. Main qualification for being promoted to manager is how long you've been with the company so there are managers with no management skills and their subordinates pay the price. A person who was demoted from management at ALT (sister company) was put back in management at Bonded because she's been with the company a million years. The dept is a mess, she lies to cover herself when she gets caught missing a deadline, gossips, and several years ago even retaliated against someone who filed a complaint with Human'less' Resources about her - then was allowed to gossip about the person she retaliated against even though there's a supposed 'no gossip' policy.
3. Human'less' Resources is a joke & don't know to handle complaints, isn't objective, favors managers who can get away with creating a hostile work environment, but if the subordinate did the same thing they would get fired. Good luck with HR following up or doing anything about a complaint if you're not a manager. Anyone with money could file a lawsuit for a hostile work environment and wrongful terminations (managers retaliating) and probably win but no one makes enough money here to do that (except the owners and nepotism relatives)
4. Gone downhill since the COO left several years ago and the CEO/owner is like an overgrown child who yells and screams like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
5. There's no diversity.
6. The health insurance is horrible
7. Don't hold your breath for a raise.
I won't be staying much longer.
