I worked at Butler America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This is a good place to start your career or to end it.

    Cons

This is not a place that will help you grow in your chosen field, they are a source of cheap labor for their customers.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees better and maybe there would be a lower turnover rate.

    Pros

The Customer is decent and the work is quite interesting.
The Location is excellent - Southern California.

    Cons

The local management for Butler is less than desirable. People are hired on and fired immediately if the local over site engineer does not like you. They are laying off local engineers and hiring H1B Visa people to take over.
My recommendation is to stay away and find another position.

    Advice to Management

None, this has been an on-going issue for many years. If the management has not changed it, it is best for the engineer to stay away.

    Cons

Doesn't pay on time, poor commission structure, benefits not that good, no training, questionable cash flow

I have been working at Butler America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I like the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of the job. The pay isn't bad and cost of living in the area is low. Starting out I was thrown into so interesting projects and given a lot of opportunities and responsibilities.

    Cons

I think managemental cominication can be lacking at times and that sometimes I feel like I'm only acting as a drafted versus an engineer.

    Advice to Management

I'd recommend a clearing organizational structure and a longer more in depth training cycle.
