Pros

A lot of freedom to interact with park visitors and do what you want to do. Dedicated people who want to make a difference. Explosive growth and diversity across county. Fun job if left alone to patrol and do job.

Cons

Severely understaffed. Director/CEO is uncaring about employees and creates a toxic work environment with and through his senior managers. High turnover rate in all departments that hasn't been addressed for many years. Does not want Rangers to do police work unless it benefits one of his personal goals. More than 6 Chiefs in 10 years because of Director. Constant threats to remove and replace employees. No opportunities for advancement or additional assignments.
