    I worked at CEMEX full-time

    Pros

Small Corporate Office, so you have access to upper management and get to sale yourself easily.
    Care about employee safety

    Cons

It's a family company, no matter the global presence or the revenues of the company. For career development, you have to be well connected and always keep in mind that the position you would like to apply for, can we assigned to somebody's relatives from Mexico.
US President lack of interpersonal skills, even has hard time addressing the company.
My humble opinion, find another place to work.
They are 2 CEMEX, the ones for the well connected people and the other for all the John Doe's

    Advice to Management

Change CEMEX USA President, stop saving the pennies and spending the dollars.

I worked at CEMEX full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good money when the hours are good. Managers are easy to work with and stick up for the drivers.

    Cons

Family life is non existent. You never know your start time until 6pm the day prior and you never know what time you will be off. Some days are 15 hours others are 2 hours. Hours fluctuate week to week. Some of the mechanics are lazy and can be rude at times others are great.

    Advice to Management

Consider working regular shifts. Safety is supposed to be Cemex' s top priority but there is no way to adjust to the hours. Take into consideration your employees health and safety.
