Pros

Co-workers are nice, benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Too many meetings, which leaves little to no time to do actual work. The CEO calls herself a visionary, but it’s not even clear what her vision is when she’s changing her mind every other day. Will create a team or position, and then get rid of it days or weeks later because it doesn’t fit her vision. Rolls out new products without properly auditing functionality, UX, in turn causes users and the team a lot of issues. As someone put it, it’s like fixing a plane during mid-flight.

Switched about a quarter of the team to work using AI, but provides poor training, expecting people to learn mostly on their own, and during their off hours.

CEO/Leadership expects everyone to become experts on everything which means we’re no longer experts on anything. And no one asked to be experts on everything!

A lot of people burn out but don’t leave because a job is a job. And everything else everyone else has mentioned.

Pros

None, some of the other coworkers are nice

Cons

Literally awful. They will fire or lay you off with no warning, and do it to everyone unless you know the CEO personally. The CEO brags about AI taking people's job. Unclear guidelines and no communication, and then you will get yelled at for not knowing what is going on. No bonus unless you know the CEO. One time, the CEO cussed me out in a meeting with 10 other people because I did what she told me to, and then decided she did not like it. They do not even provide good services for the clients.

Pros

Severe nepotism. If you have personal connections to the CEO, you can: - Receive immediate placement in management positions without qualifications. - Lie without consequence. - Make false accusations against coworkers and receive no punishment or reprimand. - Exhibit erratic or unstable behavior or sexually assault coworkers and remain employed. - Conduct important client and employee meetings while traveling in vehicles or at casual dining establishments. - Make poor management decisions and deflect accountability to subordinates. - Demonstrate incompetence without repercussion. - Maintain minimal work output. - Receive disproportionate raises and bonuses over more qualified employees.

Cons

Poor work and culture experience overall. Every company meeting with the CEO turns into a sales pitch directed towards employees. The processes, tools, services, and products change frequently and you will be expected to keep up and know everything without any training or communication. The company has no goal or alignment on what it is they actually do or offer. Quality and Operations: - Heavy reliance on AI-generated products of questionable quality (there is no quality). - Critical functions outsourced to offshore workers with limited English proficiency and insufficient training. Management and Culture: - Employees are viewed as expendable regardless of performance. - Nepotism is prevalent; non-connected employees face significant disadvantages. - Leadership lacks competence and effective management skills. - No meaningful senior management structure. Ethics and Client Relations: - Pressure to misrepresent (lie about) products/services to clients. - Regular requirement to sell clients products they cannot afford or do not need. - Dishonesty towards clients in meetings is expected. - Low (zero) ethical standards throughout the organization. Compensation and Benefits: - No raises or bonuses for standard employees. - Only legally mandated benefits provided. - Promotional titles are used to trap employees without corresponding compensation increases. - Salaried employees expected to work 50-80 hours weekly for no additional compensation. Work Environment: - No work-life balance for average employees, expect weekly mental breakdowns and stress-related health issues for yourself and from coworkers. - Positive reviews are fabricated; actual employee satisfaction is low. - No genuine company culture or values beyond AI adoption. - Workforce composition (majority female in-house) suggests targeting of employees perceived as more compliant and agreeable. Leadership: - CEO is fixated on the AI replacement of human workers which is displayed publicly in social media posts. - Public statements by leadership indicate employees are not valued as investments. - Dishonesty about quality and value of services from leadership to employees, management, and clients.
