    I worked at CPS full-time

    Pros

Can be a fun place to work

    Cons

Managers on each "island" (industry) are completely different from one another. Some take the time to groom you and others toss you in and see if you make it.

    Advice to Management

Have a comprehensive training program for all "Islands".

I have been working at CPS full-time

    Pros

It's a fun atmosphere depending on who your manager is. You can make big money, but must make huge sacrifices.

    Cons

It's a revolving door The managers are not on top of things. At 100% commission they expect too much without proper training. The clients and employees pay in the end.

    Advice to Management

    Stick to your word.

I have been working at CPS full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Very entrepreneurial- allows your work to determine your earnings
    - Very rewarding work
    - Tight-knit and caring work community
    - So many perks for employees

    Cons

Not really a con, but the compensation is 100% commission plus bonuses based on commissions; this is an excellent motivator for people who both want and need to excel. The learning curve can be steep coming in the door, so people who learn quickly and like to self-teach do best.

I have been working at CPS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

CPS is a place where hard work, intelligence, and motivation are valued and rewarded. There is a lot of training and support, but ultimately the question is "what do you want?" Bring your game on because CPS is a place where you can make it happen. This is not easy and it's not for everybody, but many people have been here for double digit years. You can really build a career and make a very lucrative income. Plus there are a lot of perks: parties, trips, gift cards (right now we are all earning Doug Bucks: Visa gift cards!), and so much more. This is a culture of celebration and reward. Recruiters tend to be type A, dynamic, and quick witted, making this a fun group. I love coming here everyday!

    Cons

Many people are intimidated by full commission, but there are "packages" to help you get started until you are making placements and money is coming in. The amount varies somewhat, but managers discuss it during the interview process (usually after the first meeting, but that varies too). And ultimately, if you are working hard, this company will have your back. Always.
The first 3 months can be tough since you are learning the job, learning an industry, and building a network. It might feel repetitive, but this is a critical time to be tenacious and energetic. Don't give up! Keep your eye on the big picture and things will happen.

I have been working at CPS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people at CPS are great, they are always there to help, no matter how experienced you are. You receive a lot of training, whether it's on the job or classroom, they want to see you succeed. The recognition and awards are better than any company I've ever worked at, if you do a good job, you will get noticed and applauded. Many perks are available as well, along with contests, trips and social gatherings.

    Cons

This job is not for everyone, it's 100% Commission and it's hard work. Expect to put in a lot of hours from the start and throughout if you want to be successful.
