My personal experience at Cache Ventures 1 year in
Pros
There are many benefits and great things about working in this company. I'll try to point out the main ones I wish someone had written down when I was first applying to work here. 1. Company culture The culture at Cache Ventures is as advertised. You will find a working environment that lacks any form of micromanagement or pressure from management. To me, it has been stress-free except for the stress I place upon myself to perform my tasks in a diligent and professional manner. 2. Management style You are left to do your work at the pacing you find reasonable and competent. If you have any questions or need any help, all you need to do is ask - everyone here is friendly and helpful. This has been my experience, at least. Management is also very encouraging. The best way to summarize my experience is this: Whenever I made a mistake, I was told that it was not a problem, and now I know the correct answer. Whenever I did something correctly beyond the standard expectations of my job description, I was praised and motivated to keep up the good work. 3. Schedule benefits The flexible schedule works wonderfully, whatever time you need to take care of your appointments and personal life, you're free to take it no questions asked. This job is about as non-intrusive in your life as possible for a full-time job. I truly have found this company to be a great place to work, and I suggest you give it a try if you're on the fence about applying or not. I intend to edit this review 12 months from now to review my second-year experience.
Cons
I wanted to make this review as balanced as possible, but I have to admit I find it hard to mention any cons about this company from my current experience. The truth is the only con I can think of is if you, personally, don't enjoy startup life. You will have to do things slightly outside of your exact job description as you will be working closely with the C-suite and all levels of the company in multiple departments. So far, I'm out of luck finding any cons. However, I intend to edit this review 12 months from now and if I find any, I'll make sure to let you know.
