I have been working at Celerion part-time for more than a year

      Pros

Decent opportunities for raises and clinical skills.

      Cons

Scheduling is unreliable. Usually comes out one week in advance at a time. As a CST they slowly increase unreasonable expectations on you to do more work. The amount of availability they want you to have is also unreasonable and doesnt offer work life balance. Also, they are merging screening and clinic staff together. Working in screening is absolutely the worst. Expect you to be there from 6 am to 230, M-F without guarantee...

I have been working at Celerion full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      Somewhat flexible schedule for students.

      Cons

Poor pay at all levels. Poor communication and management within the department which lead to mistakes and additional costs to the company. Employees with high skillsets are taken advantage of and not rewarded or advanced.

      Advice to Management

Adjust pay among all levels to a livable wage. Either hire new upper management or formulate a new process for the department to provide efficient and quality work. HR should work to actually promote employees who are doing well or beyond their job title for a consistent amount of time.

I worked at Celerion full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Great opportunities for experience in the early clinical research field. Position has a very wide range of responsibilities ranging from Biomedical equipment maintenance, maintaining vendor relations and responding to high level audits

      Cons

Very little departmental support. Heavy workload dealing with critical systems. Salary does not encourage a long term commitment to this position.

      Advice to Management

Make an effort to retain trained and experienced employees. High turn over and low wages are demoralizing.

I worked at Celerion full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Reasonably flexible, good training program, seem to prefer hiring from within

      Cons

Sometimes upper management changes things without consulting the employees it affects, which causes unforeseen consequences that would have been spotted by someone who actually has to do the work

I have been working at Celerion full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Ground level culture is friendly and encouraging. Variable clinic associates have flexible schedules - good for students.

      Cons

Inconsistent scheduling. Full-time and part-time associates are often forced to work shifts in excess of 8 hours with no breaks. No support from management. All time high attrition rate due to problems with management. New management is incompetent and ineffectual, lacking in supervisory experience. The true leadership within the organization has left the company due to recent changes in clinic manager.

      Advice to Management

Adjust the corporate culture to care for the employees. Hire and promote quality employees.
