Pros

None , management it’s terrible The staff is the best part

Cons

Everything, the owner is unaware, what happens at the warehouse and how they are overworked. she has absolutely no idea how things go bad, and how long things are kept in certain batches, and even up to point frozen to be conserved, mind you These are kids that are getting fed on a daily basis. He such a cheapskate that he even dumpster dives and takes picture of things that are not able to be use. He doesn’t care. He will fit his entire body just to see how much trash we throw in. If there’s anything in there he will make you pay for it. This is the partner that is working downstairs and managing the warehouse. Upstairs is a whole different fiasco. He is a sexist. He does not like working with women and treats women very disrespectful. He does not allow them to be drivers. He only hires male drivers keeps the woman in the warehouse just packaging. He takes absolute advantage of the weekends he will sometimes work people on the weekends up to seven hours and not give them a lunch break. Unfortunately, these are workers that don’t have any documentation or any legal status and that’s why he finds it easy to abuse the fun that this is a sweatshop he has also I just is peoples time clock in cheers them out out of their hours. This is a terrible place to work. They tell you they will pay for your benefits and then turn around until you to get on Medi-Cal so that they don’t have to pay for any type of insurance

Pros

Work life balance is prioritized. Development team is autonomous and all levels of input are respected regardless of seniority at all levels up to CEO. Latitude in technologies leveraged to complete tasks is left up to the developer. Growth is only "capped" by the individual employee. **To Address other reviews** Disgruntled employees tend to twist narratives to fit their reason of leaving. As the lead of the technical team, I can attest that the review left by the developer who left after 6 months; is only partially accurate. Feel free to find me on LinkedIn if you have concerns regarding employment in Chefables Technical team, and I will clear up any concerns left by previous employees.

Cons

Deadlines are fair but strict, your deadlines are agreed upon prior to a sprint and you're expected to complete your tasks prior to deadline.
