I worked at Chelsea FC part-time

    Pros

quality peers, respect from those you engage with, good pay, good support network from your bosses and your peeers. they are happy to help if you ever ask

    Cons

lots of driving to/from coaching sessions which means you spend a lot of time commutting/travelling compared to actual coaching time

    Advice to Management

organise sessions / coaches in decent locations, to allow for coaches to rech sessions on time. keep up the support networkin / support aspect.

I worked at Chelsea FC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great place to work with great people I made life long friends there. Overall a positive experience

    Cons

The upper management are clueless and have no sense of direction they all seem to be there based on who they know as opposed to merit. It is always fire fighting as there is no clear vision, plan or leadership. Progression of opportunities are limited as a lot of people seem to settle down and stay for a long time however having Chelsea FC on your CV is great within itself! Salaries are laughable for a company...

I have been working at Chelsea FC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Always paid on time, insured and generally well taken care of in terms of needs to do my job in relation to other companies within the industry.

    Cons

Still a big gap between men and women in terms of resources to to the respective job, not only in terms of salary but in terms of access to gym, pitches, quality of food etc.

    Advice to Management

Do surveys with the employees more often.

I worked at Chelsea FC full-time for more than 3 years

          Pros

Benefits options are good. Events - if you are invited.

          Cons

Really negative blame game culture with no progression no matter how hard you work. Favourites get away with things that other staff don't. Managers are under skilled and rely on their team to make them look good and hard working. Bad communication amongst departments. Some departments enjoy gossiping. HR is not trustworthy, numerous occasions where confidential meetings/warnings/sackings have been openly talked about...

I worked at Chelsea FC full-time for more than 3 years

          Pros

It looks good on the CV. Most people are equally as horrified by the place so it's good to bond over.

          Cons

Truly awful place to work. The company is mostly run by narcissists and self-serving nutjobs. Since having a large restructure, the top tier management was careful in selecting new staff who are just as horrible to work with as the previous bunch, somehow creating an even more toxic atmosphere. I've never known a place where legitimately most people you speak to are actively looking/trying to leave. Due to the status...

          Advice to Management

You run a workplace full of management that barely care about the football club. If you feel like any of the above remotely applies to you, please reconsider the way you treat your staff.
