Pros

I did enjoy some of the work, and I genuinely did learn a lot here that I can add to my skill set. I probably would’ve stayed if the environment and pay was better. It was nice to have remote days and they give you a decent amount of PTO days the longer you stay They also offer decent health insurance and benefits and early release on days before holidays.

Cons

As the other review said, there is a lot of favoritism, hostility, and it is overall a depressing environment to work in. There is no HR so if someone causes an issue there is no way to protect yourself or your job. Supervisor of the department was rarely present or available. Coworkers will backstab each other and go behind your back to the higher ups to make you look bad, instead of giving you constructive criticism and supporting you. There was little to no formal job training. Jealousy and egoism also runs amok there. There were two instances where I received accolades for my work from a higher up and I would get resentful comments from my coworkers instead of support. One of the most disgusting things I noticed was a group of grown women sitting around a computer and mocking and trash talking a 23-year-old intern and her portfolio. Rampant insecurity and gatekeeping, Not to mention the amount of work they were having me do for low pay. This included programming, customer service, graphic design, data collection, video editing calls, and UX design. I felt very taken advantage of. They pulled the “multiple hats” spiel so you’ll feel bogged down with work and underpaid and stressed out. I was even expected to answer emails off work hours sometimes. Not the place to work if you have a unique skill set and bring something different to the table. Maybe other departments are better but I did not have a good experience overall.

Pros

Head of the art department is an amazing person.

Cons

The pay is terrible, but not as terrible as the favoritism that goes on in the place. Certain salesmen would not show up to conference calls and meetings with clients and insisted the designers had to. Work culture is depressing.
