Avoid unless you like being underpaid and you're hoping to be laid off
Pros
Some kind and hard working people that genuinely care about the original mission to help tech startups and entrepreneurs
Cons
- So. Many. Layoffs. - Multiple rounds of layoffs over the last year, including several employees on maternity leave - Publically available information found on the Ontario Sunshine List shows that many execs had huge raises during this same time period - Reduced the workforce from around 100 employees to around 50 employees but did not reduce workload or expectations - Team morale is at an all time low - Does not pay market-value salary - Took away hybrid work options, forcing everyone to be in office 5 days a week - Leadership not open to feedback on how in-office policy negatively impacts families with young children - which is the majority of their workforce. - Employee NPS surveys are consistently very very very bad. I've actually never worked in an organization with scores this low that never seem to improve - Losing key employees to constant resignations - so much tribal knowledge and hard working people moving on - their external image to the community and how they operate internally and treat employees do not align
