Lacking in everything

Pros

You have a job. That's the only pro.

Cons

Where to start? Well, there's no training provided at Concentric. They just throw you into the fire and hope you figure it out. Management is pretty awful. There is zero communication here between everybody. When things go bad, management acts surprised. There's a very high turnover rate at Concentric. This place doesn't give out pay raises. Employees that are on salary get screwed over. Every other salaried position that I've had in my life, you always get paid the same, no matter if you're at work or off. At this place, you're only salary so it benefits the company. You can work 60 hours one week, not get paid any extra, work 32 hours the following week and your paycheck will be a day short. This is probably the worst place I've ever been employed at. I recommend to people to stay away from this place unless they are 100% desperate for a job or a new job.

Stifling, bleak, and unpleasant.

Pros

They pay you money for your work, much like any other legal business on the planet.

Cons

They have a culture of a bleak Cold War terror zone. Leadership has no interest in people or their well being. Their factory loses people on a weekly basis due to paying their laborers well below industry standard. I don’t work in the factory, but I see the revolving door and lack of care. There is this idea that we, (Concentric), are the best and our customers are garbage is the most bold statement made here...and this comes from a company that doesn’t even do $1BN USD in revenue, can’t produce parts on time and bully their customers. The only staff that stays on long term are people who live in the immediate area, and that’s due to lack of other places to work in a small town. There is no cross-functional work due to everyone being pitted against each other in some sort of weird competition instead of teamwork. The focus of this business is purely to drive profitability up for the CEO to pad his bonus, no one is interested in developing or retaining talent. I’ve never met a more unhappy group of people working in a place where their jobs are threatened daily. I’d strongly advise any and everyone to stay away from this nightmare. I foresee most good people leaving as soon as they see an opening.

Short Term thinking - Private Equity Mentality.

Pros

Some great people that continue in spite of themselves to make this company successful.

Cons

Being managed like a Private Equity company -- squeezing it till it bursts. No investment in the company or people. Ultimately all good talent has either left or are looking. People are treated like a necessary evil. It's all about keeping double digit profits and the stock price up. Frankly I don't know how they get away with posting great performance while maintaining pay freezes for almost two years. I guess the mass exodus of employees will continue and it doesn't seem to both management in the least.
