      Pros

      In the summer we could play bags on Friday and the owner throws himself a birthday party so we can celebrate him-the catered food for that is amazing.

      Cons

      The business itself is directionless. Ideas are met opposition and nothing gets executed without a ton of red tape and meetings. Marketing department core strategy is very antiquated. The owner is over involved in everything. If you enjoy accomplishing nothing and being micromanaged, this is the place for you.

      Pros

      Quarterly potlucks/company lunch-ins which make it nice for all the departments to get together. There is also a family picnic in the summer.

      Cons

      Yearly reviews are never on time, which means if you do get a raise you will have to wait. High Turnover rate (about 20+ fired or quit within the past 3 years) Same problems continue to come up and nothing ever gets fixed No female leadership

      Pros

      Small company where individuals efforts can make a huge difference. Offers opportunity to work co-operatively with all departments. Owner always available to discuss new ideas or concepts. Understand the importance of family and are accommodating. Encourage and support personal development. Numerous fun events and outings for staff. Free snacks in break room! (frequently)

      Cons

      Small open office, everyone hears everyone - some might not like this. Some systems and processes too manual...although improving. HVAC system - someone is always hot or cold...usually within 10ft of each other. Distinct business units competing for shared resources leaves some unhappy.
