Databox is an ever-evolving app and company which translates to infinite opportunities. The most successful Databox team members are those who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and listen/ learn from others. Proving your ability and willingness to grow will result in your involvement in so much. As a result, you'll continuously expand your portfolio, reach, and impact. People at Databox genuinely care about the success of the company, the success of our users, and the success of individual team members.
Cons
There's so much to do, it can be overwhelming! But stay focused, prioritize appropriately, have the right conversations, and you'll be on the right track.

Low Job Security - You never know what day, or hour will be your last. I have seen the best of the best fired on a 5-minute notice without a good reason Communication Issues and hardly an open door policy - The CEO likes to engage with the employees but the middle management does not take it too well if you share feedback with the CEO The division of salaries between the regions really needs improvement. For example, a rep from Latin America takes home around 1.5x more than a rep from Serbia, and about 2.5x more than a rep from India, even though they all have exactly the same day-to-day responsibilities. Not a great salary bump on the promotions that happen after more than a year.

I was working in this position for more than a year, the starting salary is low for the Serbia region, and it was very difficult to get a raise, you have to stay longer every day to reach monthly and quarterly goals, and they are only blindly following statistics. Even when you go on a vacation they don’t lower expectations regarding targets, so you need to compensate for that when you return or you will miss getting a raise. The salary overall is low, especially since you are a contractor and are receiving a gross salary, and have to pay all the taxes, etc.

Thank you for your contributions during your time with us, and glad you appreciated our remote work culture and working with your fellow team members. Also, we appreciate your suggestions for improving our compensation practices in different countries. We strive to pay fair, consistent and above-average compensation per region. But, we will take your feedback into account as we are currently reviewing compensation levels across teams. Regarding setting targets, as you probably know, we review and reset targets quarterly. The biggest input is the activity volume and results from the previous quarters. Because we are continuosly investing in our marketing and product development, these targets do go up. But, because we set targets based on what the team has achieved previously, we believe they are fair and allow for the majority of the team to meet or exceed them. This is evidenced by the number of team members who have been promoted based on performance. Regarding adjusting targets for vacation time, we did stop this practice because the targets are quarterly and because it added a lot of complexity to our tracking. When we made this transition, we adjusted the targets accordingly. Overall, we believe our performance management practices are very similar to other high-performing SaaS companies, but do appreciate the feedback very much and will consider your feedback alongside feedback from others. We are sorry that you felt underappreciated at Databox, and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Fast growing company with lots of talentent idividuals ready to share knowlegde with you. Space to grow, share ideas, learn new things every day, get inspired. Great product and great people. No micromanaging.
Cons
You don't get as many perks as a remote worker. No gym membership, no health insurance, maternity/paternity leave is based on US practice, which is really poor if you're based in Europe.

People are super nice and willing to help. The work allows for independence yet encourages collaboration. Changes are explained and documented. The company is mindful of your time, reinforces our values and invests in our growth and wellbeing.
Cons
They are aware of our cons as they do NPS surveys every so often and address them. After the retreat, the company rapidly moved to address our concerns and recommendations. End of year bonus would be nice.
