Great opportunity that fails - little guidance and uninformed management

Inaccurate info on job posting. It’s fine to have high expectations but KPIs/quotas should have an ebb and flow based on past sales, forecasting, and current market. Supply/demand and anomalies should be considered. DTN established a quota and never changed it and was difficult to attain during a market anomaly period. Decisions were made that removed a lot of opportunity as well from the books and management would not hear the staff and forced us to decline assisting certain brands which went against the company mission and ethical business practices and that is not ok. It’s expected for there to be change in business but I’ve never worked for a company that changes policy’s on the fly so much as this place. Also for a company of this age, 20 years, to not have a retirement plan set up was surprising.
