    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at Developing Awareness full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work is challenging, the pay is competitive, and you have the opportunity to make a huge difference in the world.

    Cons

The internal structuring of the company is garbage. There is virtually no real HR support, and nobody who works in management has been in their position longer than a year. It's amateur hour.

    Advice to Management

Design some kind of company standard management training, and stick to it. Clarify roles, and ensure that employees do not avoid discussing problems with HR due to fears of retaliation.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

It's not exactly a job, you get to do whatever you want...

    Cons

Management is completely disgraceful. They are all mixed up in terms of their priorities, and have absolutely no respect whatsoever for their employees. They do not care about you. DO NOT WORK HERE UNLESS YOU ARE TOTALLY DESPERATE FOR MONEY.

    Advice to Management

Literally everything. You guys are totally out of control.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Developing Awareness part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Rewarding because you get to fundraise for a good cause and share facts and knowledge to those who aren't aware of some the things going around the world. You can meet people who are really cool just by yelling something at a stranger.

    Cons

You have to canvass and persuade to strangers to pledge money to sponsor a child on the streets. Many people who stop either have something they're donating to already, will want to think about it, or hestitant about giving you card info even though you know you know you're working for a good cause, it can be discouraging and frustrating when people turn you down.

    Advice to Management

Management is relaxed and casual. You can really go to them about anything.
