    Pros

A reason that I would go to work for this company is that you seek an entry way into the higher end hospitality market this may be a good opportunity for you. At the Back Bay Hotelyou will be exposed to a true four star property.

    Cons

I would say that the most noticeable con to working for this company now, is that there seems to be a lack of interest in the corporate office of wanting fresh new ideas, unless you are very very good at making your fresh ideas something that they thought.

    Advice to Management

I worked at the Back bay Hotel for many years, I started as the hotel opened as Jurys Boston Hotel. Over the years I watched as the style of management changed. The management style at the local level started out as a very entrepreneurial and fresh, over time this changed as did the company to a very micro managed, run of the meal corporate world feeling. Overall a good company to work for.

    Pros

    Great benefits
HR team work hard to convey the brand values but do tend to fall short sometimes
The people are generally very nice

    Cons

management have high expectations but often the lack of equipment and outdated systems make it hard to perform. This is especially true working on the front desk. Systems constantly crashing or super slow computers make it hard to work

    Advice to Management
