Consistent work is available, median-low industry pay.
Cons
Management lacks experience, best-practices, and knowledge to foster excellence, consistency, and growth despite highly-capable, highly-trained employee-base. Sole Schnieder product line is a boat-anchor for clients and programmers/installers. Office plagued by favoritism over qualification for promotions/titles without holding interviews. No job board exists, company functions off of recruiting, word of mouth to prevent prevailing wage across company.
Below average health benefits, little to no office camaraderie, poor office culture, poor leadership, resistant to trying new things, still not using cloud file storage, refuse to allow (“don’t believe in”) WFH whatsoever, favorite employees never get dealt with even when they bully. The owner has a *horrible* temper and there’s tons of stories of him losing it and he’s just constantly yelling and insulting people. He calls people names and screams… and people put up with it because they’re paid so well. The VP won’t stand up to him either so everyone is just stuck. Probably a dozen people trying to quit but can’t find comparable pay elsewhere. Don’t be fooled by the nice recruiters. They’re probably paid very well too and they have no idea how bad it is there.
