I worked at ERMC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company offered fair compensation and they tried to do good job.

    Cons

I had a terrible manager, who played favorites and was influenced by sexual favors with subordinates.

    Advice to Management

Have better checks and balances. It's disheartening to be shown a tool bonus intended for the whole crew and then have your manager use it only for himself and fill this tool shop at home.

Some good peer managers, but company is too scared to fire poor performers because they don't want to pay unemployment.

I have been working at ERMC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast Paced Environment Excellent for those first choosing to lay an experience foundation into Security. 90% or better of site staff are wonderful to work with and alongside.

    Cons

Short Staffing, Not a Uniformed Payscale across the board, Confusing changes from Facility to Facility, Lots of Politics, No Updated Security Training Material in Years. Not up to date and current with the Demands of Todays environment and issues. Lowest pay for all positions from Site Directors and below. Will become burned out with exhausting schedule and overtime issues. No one wants to start at the wages offered to begin.

    Advice to Management

Company has a Negative image when compared overall with other companies. Internet ad campaigns to attract new staff base is not working. Lots of highly skilled applicants are turning down positions due to the $9-$10.00 starting wages. Wages are not competitive to local beginning market wages. Too many times Site management is asked to recruit from their own time and expense just to keep sites running and getting very little help from Regionals. Materials needed, take months to get from Corporate to sites.
