    I worked at ETHOS full-time

    Pros

No pros unless you wanna look stupid going door to door witch they never mention in any of the 3 interviews. This is all a finesse

    Cons

They lie and set you up to fail. It's the biggest trick since 9/11

    Advice to Management

Burn down the building the titles don't match what the job is. Be more clear stop wasting people's time

I have been working at ETHOS full-time

    Pros

I love working at ETHOS, I think that they try to take care of their employees and treat them fairly. Everyone I work with is SO nice and helpful. I tend to mostly work 9 to 5 and management takes care to make sure no one is working on weekends when it can be avoided. I rarely have to work beyond an 8 hour day or on the weekend and when I do its for reasonable requests or by my own choice.

    Cons

Sometimes I think the meetings are excessive and could be run more efficiently. But that's most jobs these days.

    Advice to Management

I love working at ETHOS and I feel really lucky to work here.

I worked at ETHOS (More than a year)

    Pros

This company offers positions to very smart people directly out of school (graduate school for the account managers and medical writers and college for the program coordinators), and it shows: most of its employees have no work experience, and this is to the detriment of everyone.

    Cons

Very high turnover. Naive employees are grateful to have their first job, so they work really hard, without realizing that they are being taken advantage of. "Bonuses" suck. Scientists (PhD level) are stratified as account directors (the haves) or medical writers (the have nots), with the latter given very little client exposure and opportunity for growth.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are very smart and motivated- LISTEN TO THEM.

Good People; willingness to expand; willingness to acquire new resources

    Cons

lack of vision; lack of qualified talent in with industry experience

  8. "Lots of turnover"

I worked at ETHOS as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice staff, people who work here care about what they do. Supportive staff for the most part (just not upper management). Agency's mission.

    Cons

Very disorganized. Lots of turnover, new staff coming in and people leaving all the time. Upper management only cares about their own interests and shows very little compassion.

    Advice to Management

Stick to the agency's mission and show the case workers and other staff that you are listening to their concerns. Happy employees make for a happy work environment.

    Pros

Positive day-to-day interactions with immediate team members. Employees are dedicated to each other and promote a team environment.

    Cons

Currently understaffed, and company persists with a startup large growth mentality rather than focus on maintaining current staff and clients.

    Pros

    Highly motivated teams
Each team free to develop it's own culture
Excellent support of work-life balance as long as you are willing to ask
Travel is light, depending on client needs
Will cover education in the form of conferences and workshops if you can demonstrate that it will help you do your job better
Top management makes you feel really good about yourself

    Cons

Rapid growth has left a few gaps that people are working on filling
Onboarding is a bit chaotic at times, but becoming more streamlined

    Advice to Management

More direct, casual, mentorship from top management would be beneficial.
