I have been working at ETHOS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very structured but not in a stuffy, traditional corporation sort of way. Good benefits. Generous CE allowance. Very supportive of internal promotions and helping people further their education. Overall very professional. Leaves no room for showing favoritism. Really cares about employees needs (work/life balance, burn out, compassion fatigue). Really make you feel like your part of a big family and make...

    Cons

Sticks to their rules no matter what. This can definitely be a positive to avoid favoritism and keep consistency but at the same time you don't get the personal exemptions from certain rules on a case to case basis that you might benefit from in a private practice (ie getting away with taking last minute PTO or picking up extra shifts to avoid having to take PTO)

    I worked at ETHOS full-time

    Pros

Uh, not a single professional in this building.

    Cons

Sales dogs, creepy, next door to a strip club, shady interview process.

    Advice to Management

Stop looking down my shirt, and tell me exactly what the job is, lol gross people.

    I worked at ETHOS full-time

    Pros

ETHOS is a good place to work. There are some really smart, hardworking people here. They allow some flexibility in your schedule and working from home if needed for things like doctors appointments and such. Tons of snacks are available all day - from yogurts, hummus, cheeses, fruits to candy, trail mix, granola bars and more. You can work on some pretty cool projects and learn a lot. Everyone I’ve worked with has been...

    Cons

Health insurance is a little pricey. 40 hour work week with 30 min lunches. Main hours are 9-5:30 but there is flexibility as long as you hit those 40 hours. Not a ton of holidays and no time off between Christmas and New Years. Things get a little crazy and you’ll find yourself working over those 40 hours sometimes.

      I worked at ETHOS full-time

      Pros

No pros unless you wanna look stupid going door to door witch they never mention in any of the 3 interviews. This is all a finesse

      Cons

They lie and set you up to fail. It's the biggest trick since 9/11

      Advice to Management

Burn down the building the titles don't match what the job is. Be more clear stop wasting people's time

I have been working at ETHOS full-time

      Pros

I love working at ETHOS, I think that they try to take care of their employees and treat them fairly. Everyone I work with is SO nice and helpful. I tend to mostly work 9 to 5 and management takes care to make sure no one is working on weekends when it can be avoided. I rarely have to work beyond an 8 hour day or on the weekend and when I do its for reasonable requests or by my own choice.

      Cons

Sometimes I think the meetings are excessive and could be run more efficiently. But that's most jobs these days.

      Advice to Management

I love working at ETHOS and I feel really lucky to work here.

I worked at ETHOS for more than 2 years

      Pros

This company offers positions to very smart people directly out of school (graduate school for the account managers and medical writers and college for the program coordinators), and it shows: most of its employees have no work experience, and this is to the detriment of everyone.

      Cons

Very high turnover. Naive employees are grateful to have their first job, so they work really hard, without realizing that they are being taken advantage of. "Bonuses" suck. Scientists (PhD level) are stratified as account directors (the haves) or medical writers (the have nots), with the latter given very little client exposure and opportunity for growth.

      Advice to Management

Your employees are very smart and motivated- LISTEN TO THEM.
