Good pay and benefits, but low morale, redundancies and cliquey culture
Pros
Good pay for the industry Very strong benefits (pension, modern family leave) Positive initiatives around inclusivity, charitable donations and staff events
Cons
Restructure after restructure with significant redundancies, has left morale extremely low which made it a difficult place to work, especially within the section of the business I was working in. The company talks a lot about a "special culture" but I found little evidence of a positive culture. It's very cliquey due to the structure of the business and the office has a cold atmosphere about it (very rarely would someone say hello in the elevator etc). Edrington is the least inspiring place I've worked in my career so far. The company has amazing potential and some great initiatives but mismanagement and poor handling of structural changes (with a lack of leadership accountability) have really flattened the energy of the company, with many people looking to leave.
