I have never ever heard of a place that treated people so poorly as the owners of this company does. Not only do employees get absolutely NO paid time off the first year, but they are "given" 5 UNPAID days off. Yes, you have to fight to even get UNPAID time off! That includes time off due to doctor visits and hurricanes, which are plentiful here in South Florida. You also cannot take any sick days off unless you have a doctor's note ... How many times do we go to the doctor EVEN IF WE'RE PUKING OUR GUTS OUT?!? I get that they want to keep people accountable, but at the end of it, you aren't even getting PAID to have the day off because you're sick!
Weirder still, you are not allowed to relocate to another location, even if your internet isn't working at home. They'd rather not pay you for work than let you go a few miles down the road to a location that provides internet for you to work on.
The pay is low, no matter what your qualifications and experience are, plus the insurance isn't very good either. Be aware that they do not offer a 401(k).
I was not in the sales department, but even though this is a fully remote job and I didn't have any clients, 24 Data required me to abide by a business casual dress code. That's considering that my department never actually SEES or needs to talk to anyone (with the exception of seeing each other for a weekly team meeting via video). However, even with all these rules, one of the head executives will go to these weekly team meetings in a relaxed tee and casual baseball cap, if he shows up at all. The people in HR will sometimes do a surprise video chat to make sure you're wearing the work uniform too.
Even more insultingly, you have to PAY FOR YOUR OWN OUTLOOK MAIL ACCOUNT, and are required to buy a landline phone that you pay the monthly bill for, even if you don't have clients or anyone who you'd ever talk to on the phone. (All our work conversations take place on the free work program called Slack, which makes the landline phone even more unnecessary.) One of the higher ups will call you on it once a week to make sure you're at home, then hang up on you without even saying hello. (I guess they need to save the extra 1.5 seconds that saying "Hi" would take.)
It's quite easy to forget you're not in kindergarten while working at this company, so unless you're absolutely desperate and need money fast, do not work for this company!!
