Pros

Overall, the company does care about its employees and strives for a decent culture. A lot of the employees are friendly, educated and hard-working, and get along with each other. The office is nice and fairly up to date, and located in a well-maintained professional building.

Cons

Although the company may try to treat its employees in a decent manner, their funding makes it nearly impossible for them to do so. The company is non-profit and funded through state and federal grants, which are being cut left and right. Job stability is non-existent. Opportunities for advancement are extremely limited, and preferential treatment is given to particular "favorite" employees. Benefits have been slashed each year I have been here, as well as salary freezes. Significant layoffs have occurred. These economic times are hitting ABH hard, and although no company is solid as a rock in today's climate, ABH is extremely unstable and volatile right now.

Pros

The direction that ABH is headed under new leadership is competitive and innovative, they are undergoing a long overdue transition that will allow for a lot of growth. Employee feedback is 100% considered and you will be valued for your contributions. Employees will get recognized for the work they do and given incentives for their performance. Upward career opportunities from within the organization. Ratings reflect present status. CEO rating is for Chad Wable, not Sam Moy.

Cons

A lot of under performers that have stayed employed due to poor performance standards in the past. Employees that work hybrid do not do their work from home and other staff in their departments have to compensate to complete tasks. Cliquish and gossipy staff that have been there 20+ years and actively try to subvert the new changes the company is going through.
