Pros

Excellent place to learn about food technology, high quality products Food hygiene standards are high Friendly day-to-day atmosphere Lower ranking positions are future proof, some stay their whole life in the company Truly food technology company Good work/life balance, especially in Austria Working with fruits is fun in general, you can taste products all the time

Cons

Working there: Salary-benefits lower vs. industry average Higher positions are only available to Austrian men with a network in Raiffaisen Bank (the main owner) Company in general: Company is incompetent in marketing vs. competitors Depending on factory, work safety standards are among the poorest in the industry Objectives are about to make short term financial profit (3-9 months) vs. the actual functioning cycle is 2-3 years due to the agricultural nature/related to crops (what is decided today, you can implement/seed next year, and see in the crops the year afterwards) Decision making cycle is slow in itself, often when decisions are finally made, the original situation is already irrelevant, therefore many business opportunities are lost
