Tons of leadership opportunities available in this organisation and some roles are very similar to the real world if you know how to package them well, such as sales, partnership development and recruitment. You'll meet the most inclusive and diverse bunch of people and we need more people like them that can look past gender, skin color, nationality, sexual orientation, social status etc to make the world a better place!
Cons
The national directors are elected because they are more passionate than the local volunteers, not because they are more competent. Sometimes you'd have to put up with people who are more clueless than you. This is the inherent flaw of this organisation but also the beauty of it because it is a leadership development organisation and we all want to develop our leadership capabilities together.
