Pros

no pros to add, this was the biggest waste of time and worst overall job I've ever had in my career

Cons

- workplace politics and favoritism make it a hostile work environment. people will talk down to you, nitpick and micromanage, and talk behind your back. most leadership is made up of corporate shills with large egos who you can't voice your opinions or thoughts to - only negative feedback and criticism is given with no recognition of any work you put in - no job stability, people hired and fired left and right within a few months as business outlook is dire to say the least. company is struggling to find new clients and is pushing people out - no work life balance. you're expected to work late, work on weekends, and work on the plane or airport while you travel, even if it's for a personal trip and not during work travel. as other reviews mentioned, unlimited pto is a lie and there are three months of a block out period at the end of the year. you're discouraged from taking more than 2 weeks of total time off and requested pto is often disapproved. you are expected to change your travel plans when that happens, even if you lose money from booked travel. - no room for growth. you're discouraged and belittled from pursuing any role or responsibility you're interested in, and put down in general - no functioning hr department

Pros

You will make some good trauma bonding friendships through the process

Cons

Be prepared to live on credit card debt or personal loans- travel requirements expect you to foot business travel expenses upfront, while finance pays you back on 60 day+ terms (probably because the company is illiquid). Often times weekly travel expenses exceed weekly pay, so be sure to take into account credit card interest rates you’ll be self funding from your paltry take home pay. For the privlege of providing upfront liquidity for biz ops, you can watch as the CEO kicks back at his Utah Ski Chalet between floundering about, constant direction changes, firing people because he can’t sell work, and general mismanagement of his business (over stretching resources on free work, overcommitting to clients, scope creep, poor employee development) Expects tier 1 MBB consulting commitment in terms of hours, but doesn’t even pay close to big four or bottom tier shops.
