Pros

I really enjoyed working with the other designers, they're a great group of people. They eat lunches together and frequently hang out after work together or over the weekend. A very tight knit group of friends.

Cons

ARS treats their employees like they are disposable. They will work you into the ground for very little pay and then when you're about to hit your limit physically and mentally, you'll be "laid off" and replaced by a Jr. designer who they will pay 1/2-1/3 what you made. The turnover rate at this company is very high. The inside joke is that ARS stands for Always Replacing Staff.

Pros

The only pro I can come up with is what others have pointed out, if you're fresh out of college and looking for that first gig you can get a start here. That being said, you should exhaust all other options first. It's good padding on a resume but it ends there. The negatives vastly outweigh this one aspect.

Cons

Almost too much to go into. Employment here is determined by comradery with management and little else. In my 3 years at this place I never received a review and had only one marginal raise. Senior staff and new employees alike are cut loose with no warning, and on a very regular basis. Management is completely inept and prone to their emotional whims. You are expected to be on call at all hours on all days and the wages do not reflect this responsibility.
