Pros
As a standard colleague I enjoyed it. Felt valued, was paid for what I worked, plenty of overtime available.
Cons
As a manager, absolutely appalling place to work. Expected to do way over the contracted 45 hours a week. Obviously don't get paid for that. If there's a potential visit, no breaks and stay until the boss doesn't think they're coming anymore. Culture of calls and texts from the store manager on days off and on holidays. No time allowed to spend training and motivating team, so high labour turnover.
