Pros

Creative environment with fun projects

Cons

Management is terrible and turnover is outrageous. I've never worked at a company where so many people quit overnight with no warning. That says a lot about a company when people don't even feel comfortable giving 2 weeks' notice. Management thinks they are doing a great job and see no need to listen to their people but they drive them into the ground and throw money at them to make them stay as if they can be bought. Most people there last about a year or so.

Hello Anonymous former employee. We appreciate your input but there are many flaws in your argument. 1. In every company, there are hires that decide to leave for many reasons. If you would have done a little research you would have learned that 95% of our "overnight quitters" are people that we have spoken with beforehand and because we wanted to respect their privacy, the "no warning" was actually with a warning, just not publicised to the whole company. 2. The management "doesn't think we are doing a great job". We believe we are doing the best we can for a company that has been doing so well we need to hire so quickly that growing pains are a real thing. We encourage input and love to hear what others think can improve the company. 3. Looking at actual stats the average tenure is 2.9 years. You can check that number out yourself if you have Linkedin Premium. If you don't have premium here is a screenshot. https://imgur.com/sTVUXpl We feel that you are throughing out allegations that aren't only false but seem like they are written by somebody that has never worked for the company and if so your disgruntle review could mean a few things: A. The issue may have been with you and not the company and the attitude and values you are displaying in this review are what made us separate our ways. B. You are from a competing company and actually trying to discredit our company. If you are really a former employee we would like to sit down and have an actual conversation. You are free to contact us at your convenience so we can talk about this review. astoundgroup.com/contact Thank you and have a nice day.

People-First Leadership: The leadership team is approachable and genuinely invested in employee growth. Opportunities to Grow: Whether you're in project management, finance, creative, or operations, there are ample chances to take on more responsibility, lead initiatives, and expand your skills. Global Presence, Boutique Feel: ASTOUND works with some of the biggest brands globally, but still maintains the intimacy of a boutique agency. Cons

High Expectations: The bar is set high, and the pace can be intense, especially around major event and show timelines. It’s not a 9–5 environment, and time management is crucial. Scaling Pains: Like any rapidly growing company, some systems and processes are still evolving. But leadership is clearly committed to improving infrastructure and communication.

Pros

If you want firsthand experience with repeated layoffs and minimal severance, this is a very efficient environment

Cons

The company has been losing money for years and continues to cut headcount. Layoffs come with roughly one month of severance regardless of tenure. Accrued PTO is not paid out, and equity/stock handling is unclear and unfavorable. Layoff terms feel one-sided and not aligned with standard practice. There is a noticeable pattern in who is being let go versus who is being retained or promoted. HR and leadership communication is opaque and often comes across as dismissive or rude.
