Pros

If you’re thinking whether or not to make the switch to Freedom for your career, I would say go for it. It has been the best decision I made to join Freedom Debt Relief a little over 2 years ago now, and to become part of the Freedom Family. They have a great career path, and growth opportunities, amazing benefits, and the best people with work with. I love that I get to help people every day on a path to being more financially secure, and help them feel like they can finally catch their breath. We are there for our client’s, and Freedom is there for their Family(employees). I have had some personal health issues, and the leadership here has gone above, and beyond to make me feel at ease, and provided immense support with me getting better, and anything I needed to help take the time needed to get healthy again. I even had my team that I am part of give me a card, a bear, and balloon while I was in the hospital. That kind of care tells you a lot about a company, and one that I am proud to be part of

Pros

- The people are generally very kind and collaborative broadly. - I believe the company is genuine in its mission to only earn profits by helping everyday Americans move forward on the path to a better financial future. - The company at large and some of its leaders aren't afraid to try things and then pivot if they don't work to try something else, instead of doubling down over pride or ego or stubbornness.

Cons

- There's a lack of clear and strategic leadership that leaves job ambiguity, which places the employee at a disadvantage with performance measurement, which is how they award quarterly bonuses. Without clear SMART goals, it becomes a game of bring me a rock, but not that rock. - Towards the end, they were implementing a start-up entrepreneurial mindset style that was leaning away from valuing work/life balance and getting more demanding and desperate in attempts to meet metrics.
