Pros

Very nice people, good culture of transparency and learning from the top down. You have the ability to affect the company through your individual work or your team's work. Increasing diversity in engineering and management. If you want to be part of a successful hypergrowth company that doubles in size every year, despite the difficulties, this is a good place to be.

Cons

Growing very fast and not every decision is the best for everyone. Lots of communication required in a digital-first world. The gap in engineering leadership has created some difficulties but engineering managers have filled in a lot of those in the meantime. If you want to work only on tasks you enjoy and are not open to change, this is not the place for you.

Thank you for your review, I appreciate the detailed feedback. We absolutely needed to fill the gap in engineering leadership as we continue to grow, and we are actively work on that. To help the engineering teams, we have additional training for managers as well as "ask me anything" for continuous, anonymous feedback opportunities. We're also please to mention that we have hired Jessica Popp who is now our CTO at Ada. Kerris, VP of People at Ada

Pros

I love the leadership team here, they're very generous with their time and have a vision I stand behind. I have a lot of runway and trust to do my best work. If you want to work with ambitious people, this is the place for you. If you just want to clock in and out, then this is not an environment you'll thrive in.

Cons

It's in Toronto (too cold!)
