Pros
-you get paid money, money is useful! -also i guess the genuine people you meet who want help with hair loss, and then being able to present and give that person help (realistically and without folding to pressure from up top to hard sell the living crap out of them whether using lies and bs or not. hey, if all goes pete tong they've a lawyer who'll just drag out every court case for years until the poor guy or gal who have been victimised can't afford to continue and drops it, oh what sweet people) -well, i sure learnt alot! you tend to learn more when faced with adversity
Cons
just about everything else:- -you are pretty much a one man band in the studios, working 6 days a week, contracted 60hrs and expected to get in earlier and stay later. -you are a cleaner, receptionist, consultant, telesales nuisance caller, sometimes even a stylist and overall general dogsbody all in one -if the poor sods who enquired and getting the thousandth hair loss enquiry call arent berating you and cussing you out with threats, then the ceo's and senior staff are by phone, fax and email, your ears and eyes will turn blue! -terrible bullying, terrible workplace, rarely do staff members stay on for any length of time, biggest revolving door i've ever seen and with good reason. -they lie and say you are salaried then once working tell you it's a retainer and god help you if you don't hit it! (also funny thing is they encourage hiring clients as consultants, and wahey you get a referral bonus, but they are the very clients who so many have ripped off, then they get shocked when those people quit or lose interest and get fired, losing them a revenue stream as clients because they've seen how much theyd been overcharged why would they ever spend money with them again, and losing an employee as they've found out how slapshod the place is run, a snake eating it's own tail, fantastic stuff!)
