Pros

- International team - project dinners

Cons

- senior management focused on deliverable and results vs establishing a good working environment - very long hours. Some weeks can get to 70+ hours, average is 55-60. No weekend work with some exceptions - lack of collaboration from senior management with mid-junior team - senior management can get passive aggressive and intimidating - zero flexibility on remote working - focus on details, with very long decks to develop in short time - most communication from senior management is via teams, even though they sit next to you in the office - partner has its own office, with minimal interactions with project team, except for day before steercos - most of us aren’t happy with the company and would highly consider other opportunities - 90% of projects are chemicals

- Growing firm (NYC office doubles every ~1.5 years) - Friendly atmosphere / team - Fast career progression (multiple internal promotions to manager, principal, and partner in NYC) - Exciting projects

Cons

- none to really highlight to be honest

-Visa sponsorship for international workers -International office exchange opportunity -No travel required -Some intelligent colleagues

Cons

-Micromanagement and a toxic office culture -High employee burnout and heavy workload -Management often appears focused on short-term utilization rather than long-term employee development -No WFH flexibility and no sick leaves (you have to use your PTOs for sick days) -Salary progression is slow compared with peers -Exit opportunities are limited, mostly within similar-tier consulting firms

At the same time, we’d like to provide some additional context on a few of the concerns raised. Our work environment is fast-paced and client-driven, which can at times feel demanding. However, this is also what enables our teams to develop strong problem-solving skills, gain meaningful client exposure, and build a solid professional foundation early in their careers. We continue to actively monitor workload distribution to ensure it remains both challenging and sustainable. Our generous PTO policy covers vacation, sick and personal time off as this allows employees to use their time off as they choose to without it being split into specific buckets. Given the collaborative nature of our work, we find that being in the office together is important, however, we do provide flexibility around working from home when needed. Our focus is on long-term skill development and career growth, and many of our employees go on to pursue diverse opportunities both within and beyond consulting. Salary and career progression are based solely on individual performance, and we have many employees who progress quickly. That said, we understand perceptions can differ. We appreciate candid feedback like yours—it plays an important role in helping us improve while also ensuring a balanced picture of the employee experience.
