Advancy’s diverse Global team includes women and people from all cultures and races. Our 2026 Egapro score is 90/100, up from 78 in 2021, reflecting our focus on improving equality throughout the team. We believe our differences are what make us unique. Consulting is a very demanding industry, and long hours are typical of most firms. At Advancy, we are constantly looking at new ways to assist employees with balance.

Sounds like you had an opportunity to work with talented people and great clients! Longer hours are typical in the consulting industry and prestige doesn’t always equal opportunity or experience. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Pros

- Short (2–6 week) pure-strategy projects, offering broad industry exposure and strong learning (many due diligences) - Accessible feedback culture, (informal or formal feedback) and weekly anonymous upward feedback (not sure how much this is taken into account) - HR support in the Paris office - High exposure to chemicals, industrials, and life sciences projects (but not limited to these) - Friendly, young, and collaborative atmosphere - Collaboration across offices, including short-term international exchanges

Cons

- Long hours (typical in consulting) - Staffing can be luck-driven, with varying learning experiences depending on the manager and limited choice of projects early on
