The numbers don't lie - AEs are closing a lot more deals compared to past years regardless of tenure. Quota attainment was always the elephant in the room in water cooler talk or Glassdoor reviews from the past couple years, and tight purses during the pandemic and time after didn't help. If things continue the way they have been in 2023, they'll keep improving into 2024 and beyond. - Advances in tech, AI, product, support, and service have not only given a much bigger edge and win-rate over competition, but also dramatically increased ASP. Many key competitors have been dropping the ball on their product & service lately. Their glaring issues, and how Agility fixes them, have never been more clear. - Perks like 4-day workweek summers, fully remote work, and "no-meeting Fridays" are new perks and very appreciated - Collaborative teams that help each other and aren't at each other's throats, tons of knowledge sharing between peers - Work life balance - Gain experience meeting with all sorts of companies, industries, and levels in the organization from Director to C-Suite. - Managers see you as more than just a number
Cons
- inbound leads, while improving, can keep improving - would love to see business development return in a meaningful & strategic way - tedious CRM workflows that could be better optimized, which impacts all teams from Sales to Client Success to Billing - updated benefits to keep up and align with the work from home changes - more top-down (and back up) communication; aside from a once-per-quarter presentation, staff have no idea how the company is doing in the grand scheme of things, plans for expansion, product roadmaps/changes, employee and client incentives, or reasons behind sudden changes in strategy.
