Pros
Working at Aldec gives you experience in the EDA industry to work for a more stable and better EDA company. This is not a great place to end up, but is only a great place to start and get exposed.
Cons
- Management has changed over the last 6 months, which led to a majority of the team leaving or being let go - Key management guys were never replaced - causing confusion for everyone in the office. - Engineers reported low salaries, sales team commission was nothing too special. Everyone relied on hitting a quarter goal, but how can you do that with an absent sales team. - Major decisions about companies future isn't shared - Engineers have left for other EDA companies looking for better opportunities - No respect for the sales team, pretty much a telemarketing job.
