Aldevron Response
6yThis review isn't very constructive but we'll address it anyway. Let's take them in reverse order:
6. Unrealistic expectations: Our clients are working to cure disease. Hence, meeting their needs is our number 1 priority. Expectations are high but not unrealistic. Our employees take great pride in the role they play in this critical work.
5. No communication - coworkers don't tell each other things needed in order to get things done: this is something every employee can contribute to everyday, including the author of this review before they left. It takes personal accountability.
4. Toxic culture: we disagree. Our culture is unique, like every company, and it may not be a fit for everybody. It's fast paced, with high expectations, high behavior standards and a lot of change recently (and in the future). We also have a lot of fun. We have many ways for employees to contribute beyond their normal job. We have many avenues for people to grow their careers...and much more. "Toxic" is an easy headline grabber of a word but it is simply wrong. The reason I know that is because...
3. HIGH Turnover: is false. Turnover at Aldevron is not out of the ordinary. Fargo and Madison have very strong economies and over the last two years turnover has been cut in half. Could it be less? Yes and we'll continue drive it down but for our industry and geography it's not out of the ordinary.
2. No training or professional development opportunities: Survey says......false! From an awesome orientation program to tons of internal promotion opportunities to LinkedIn Learning to Afternoon of Learning events to job specific training to many more...the author should have put a little more thought into this one (and the other 5).
1. Poor leadership: we'll agree to disagree.
