Great Coworkers, very BAD management - Anonymous employee AlgaeCal Employee Review

Great company culture. Caring individuals. Good work life balance. Good opportunities for advancement/learning.

It's hard me to receive a plan for my career as I have a unique role, but that's not really fault of the company per se.

•AlgaeCal is very intentional about creating a great company culture. They look for people who are smart, driven, and good with people. This creates a positive, healthy work environment. •The supplements AlgaeCal sells are backed by science. No other company can say their natural calcium supplements have been shown in clinical studies to actually *increase* bone density. These products really work, and they genuinely transform lives. So when you work at AlgaeCal, you can feel good about what you're selling.

•It would be nice if the company offered a healthcare package to its U.S. employees, but you can still get health insurance through the marketplace, so this isn't a "make or break" thing for most people. The lack of what Americans would consider standard employee benefits is the only reason I didn't rate the "Compensations & Benefits" category a 5/5. In general, AlgaeCal is a great place to work!
