Pros

Great bunch of people, loads of fun events, very sociable, excellent career opportunities for recruiters, work hard play hard, treat their support team quite well, can have close relationship & communication with senior management which is valuable - they listen to feedback from all levels of the business. GREAT place for a recruitment consultant starting out who's willing to work hard and be rewarded, or a support team member who wants a fun place to work and doesn't mind lack of progression.

Cons

Very tough targets, leavers disappear rather abruptly, don't always value support team (not really any career opportunities there and paid a fraction of the recruiter salaries) and can overly focus on the bottom line, senior managers want to be your friend but that can be complicated

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Allen Lane. Being trained on their grad scheme we were shown the ropes through a detailed and well planned course, and then rapidly given the freedom to apply ourselves to the role. During my time at Allen Lane I was given the opportunity to move team, allowing me to explore different areas and learn about the wider public sector. I would describe the culture as friendly and supportive with leadership happy to help with anything you need a hand with and colleagues keen to work collaboratively. We had external professionals come in and provide training and on the whole there is a culture continuous improvement.

Cons

There are no glaring cons to working at Allen Lane in my mind.

Pros

It’s hard to find any

Cons

Giving one star because I have to but couldn’t recommend this place less. Very toxic and unprofessional No company culture no one speaks in the office. Days feel like years working here and years feel like a waste of your time and career.
