Leadership Incompetence - Anonymous employee Amazingmail Employee Review

The structure of the company is great, the company growth is limitless, I feel valued every day, my opinion matters, the VPs are open and honest about the company's financials which is always reassuring. I have been with Amazingmail for 9 years which I think makes me the 5th longest working employee with the company, followed closely by a few others. I have always felt like management was honest and I have always known my value and how to make my experience better, for me and for the company. I moved out of state a few years ago and Danielle was able to create a remote position for me which has been a blessing! It has allowed me to dedicate a lot of time to my family and be flexible with my work schedule. Even though it is hard for me to advance my title in the company, working remotely, I still feel like I am moving forward in my value and have continued to get raises which reflects my hard work and dedication.

I know there are a lot of reviews on here about the relationship between the VPs and how they can be vocal in their communication... I have to say I think this just goes to show how dedicated and passionate they are about the direction of the company. Everything always works out in the end and I have never felt threatened by this passionate exchange between management.

My time at Amazingmail.com was truly an amazing experience! The CFO and Executive VP are actually incredible, contrary to some reviews on here. The way that they have turned this company around over the past five years is remarkable. They also go out of their way to make every employee feel comfortable. They know your name and really care about you and your needs/concerns. Before my manager was hired they were there for me and worked with me personally on a daily basis. Speaking of my Manager, the Controller, he was awesome. We worked together daily and were able to build a great friendship. My other coworkers were great as well! The open floor plan of our office makes it easy to interact with all departments. From day one everyone was super friendly and helpful. They are genuinely excited when a new team member comes on board, no matter the department. It is truly a family-like atmosphere at Amazingmail and I have created friendships that will last a long time. Another pro is the quarterly bonus and the office party. Basically you get your bonus, review the quarter's successes, and enjoy the treats that are provided. If you are fortunate enough to work for AMI then you will absolutely LOVE it there!!

There aren't many downsides to AMI. A few of us tried to make Fridays Bring Your Pet to Work Day but that didn't really work out for obvious reasons!
