Pros
You get a lot of deal reps at Angle and are given a lot of responsibility early on. You get to learn the ins and outs of various businesses and business models. Great place to learn CIM building & other junior IB skills.
The founding partners are great for the most part. Pay is okay for the location. Probably underpaid for the hours expected from management.
Cons
Very odd culture. The personalities are largely the reason I left. Certain Directors, VPs, and other senior bankers harbor a cliquey culture and can make juniors feel like they're walking on eggshells for no reason. Sometimes they act like Angle is a bulge bracket bank despite being a LMM boutique in Michigan. Good place to get "IB" on your resume, but not a career company for most in my opinion.
They will take on almost any deal meaning you'll probably work on some dumpster fires, but this may not be unique to Angle.
