'You set your schedule' - except you don't. They pressure you to work all the time and drive ALL OVER with no promise of organization or efficiency, which is a total let down considering there is NEVER a promise of a sale.
Cons
Toxic work environment, manipulative and immature leadership. Their training is a joke - labeled as high octane when really it's just bullying and pitting you against other junior agents to 'motivate you'. Junior agents procure nearly all leads and then rely completely on senior agents to close the deals. Hardly anything is in your control, while leadership breathes down your neck about how you control your income and experience to a fault. They lie about your tax status. I had to wrangle with reporting missing records to the IRS because APEX refused to provide my tax forms, stating they had no record - yet I was contacted when they underwent an audit later on.
