Pros

An individual can learn how to market and recruit skillfully through trainings. Also, an individual can learn different tactics of saying the same thing in 10 different ways.

Cons

First of, their target segments are younger generations who are ignorant and lack real life knowledge. For example, a young individual (18-22 years old) with ambition and hunger for success will be easily convinced by marketing schemes such as "top leaders" showing up in Lamborghinis and Ferraris. In reality... the price to get a seat in this business is dropping $800+ for what's called a "business pack" and $1300+ for an "elite pack." The fact is, most younger generations from the age range given above won't have the savings for this investments and rely on borrowing their parents money to "build their dreams and yet a fancy car." With that being said, after going up in ranks, it's one paycheck with a very fancy title such as "Vice President." Fancy title that builds big egos right? However, there is the reality check where VP of REAL corporations who are earning more than six figures, versus VP at ARIIX which is a $700 paycheck that might or might not come back next week. After being involved for a couple of months, I witness more than dozens of recruits drop out because the monthly fee to stay active is more than what their cash flow is coming in. I've also witness every single person who's done MLM get all their family and friends to join and run out of business because it's difficult to sell this type of business to people who won't pity an individual such as their closed ones. Also, I personally know a lot of individuals who use their lifestyle as a marketing tool in ARIIX; who drive top of the line cars but has over $50k in student loans. Now, let's look at the cash flow: they're living a lie to do business. That's why most people who joined don't stay.
