- Didn't feel like there was much trust in employees - You may think you're working for a "startup" but you're just working for Allstate and all of their rules and restrictions apply. - (Pre pandemic) Management is strict about office time. It felt like a big deal to try to leave early or have to come in a little late. - Introducing new technology was a battle against management. They'd over vet technology and thus things moved so slow. - teams are pretty much siloed working on individual projects - there wasn't much cross team collaboration.
