Pros

None at all this company is horrible

Cons

Mandatory 6 day work week, and they can call you in on your only day off & can not get overtime. They transfer you to stores that are far from where you live.People from Denton who knows nothing about sales or store calls and harass employees in the store. You have to consistently reply to emails and blogs and if you don't you get yelled at. The pay is below average for the industry, they want you to dedicate your life to the company so you can't get a 2nd job without being threatened, even if it is not interfering with the position. Benefits are ridiculous in price for what they are paying their front line. This company requires you to be full time but work less than 40 hour. They make you get on conference calls and you don't get paid for it sometimes you have to drive to Denton for meetings and you don't get reimbursement for mileage and tolls. The. Company is a revolving door and they don't care. The employees leave and when they hire they don't care they hire any and every body. They do not value their employees. I can go on and about this company policies and horrible ethical practices but I urge anyone with common sense STAY AWAY FROM ARJAY

Pros

This was by far one of the best companies I have ever worked for. - and I truly miss working there. They made you feel as though you are family here, and like some of the other reviews said - as long as you do your work this job was really rewarding. They had weekly, monthly, and yearly contests to win extra money or prizes - fully paid trips to Cancun, $1000 cash, 70' flat screen TVs etc. It was awesome!! Shame on Glassdoor for allowing these bad reviews - For those of you saying they favored certain employees, it wasn't favoritism - it was the fact that those employees did their job, and brought happy energy to work. No one wants to work with someone who grumbles all the time - you're paid to do your job.... the fact that they threw in extra perks was the cherry on top, yet everyone takes it for granted. The pay WAS competitive - managers at Best Buy only make $18 WITH NO COMMISSION..... Also, if you are just standing around not doing any sales, not bringing in any profit then how on earth do you expect someone to reward you for that by giving you more money? In life, there aren't any handouts. Those of you that said there wasn't any training: If you weren't being trained in your store - did you reach out to your area managers? What about someone from backend? Stop complaining when y'all did nothing to TRY and make it better. Whenever I had a gripe with something, management would either resolve it or explain why things the way they were.

Cons

They decided to sell their business :(
