Pros

Absolutely wonderful all-around individuals working there, loved everyone that I worked with and for. The nature of the work this company does is also incredibly fascinating, lots of very cool projects were worked on and completed during my time employed there. While no job is perfect, I am, overall, grateful for my time with Atlantic - I learned so much, grew tremendously in my skills and experience as a professional, and loved the people there, both as excellent co-workers and teammates and just as individuals in general.

Cons

Upper management style was not ideal - very misleading and\or withholding of information pertinent to the company's overall standing\well-being. There was an unsustainable and generally detrimental lack of communication between upper management and everyone else - this ultimately led to egregious miscommunications and misunderstandings (about everything: workforce capabilities, realistic budget proposals, technical workflows, etc.) between the different departments, the different members of middle management, the individuals of the technical\production team(s), etc. Everyone was (unknowingly) left to work with partial information - and often different pieces of partial information - that was inadequate to properly communicate and subsequently facilitate correct and efficient execution of tasks required to meet project specifications, deadlines, budgetary limitations, and so on. This led to so much unnecessary confusion at all levels, and the amount of time wasted trying to sort out said confusion and correcting\re-doing [often exquisite] work (that was only done incorrectly due to lack of clear instructions and\or understanding of a project's scope of work) was easily the majority of overall time spent on any and every project. The made for a very frustrating and stressful work environment and had it not been for the wonderful spirits, attitudes, and abilities of the individuals working there, this company would have a) gone under long ago and b) been a nightmare of a daily environment to work in.

Pros

I was part of the growth of Atlantic. We had a great team from our field staff, our technical staff, and management too.

Cons

COVID and slowdown of government contracting really stunted our growth and forced me to look elsewhere.

Pros

You can build flight time will little or no experience!

Cons

If you make it out of this company without a violation, incident or accident that would be a pro. This company thinks of their pilots as “bus drivers” -exact words from one of the presidents of the company and they treat their pilots as such. This company has no regard for safety or federal aviation regulations and you will be asked to violate them frequently. That is mainly due to the lack of knowledge in the aviation department. If you are still thinking about considering this company my suggestion is get your flight time and move on! If you are looking for a company that treats their employees well keep looking!

Normally I say thank you to each person that provides feedback because it does make us a better company. However, your review seems to include a lot of emotion and anger. There are several assertions you make that are simply false and a gross misrepresentation of our company. As the only "president" of this company, I can assure you that I have never referred to our pilots as "bus drivers". I have the utmost respect for our group of pilots, and can point to many benefits at Atlantic that have been implemented specifically for the benefit of our pilots. We have a fantastic record of safety with the FAA, the Department of Labor, the US Labor Relations Board and every other organization that provides oversight for a business like Atlantic. You make an inflammatory statement of "if you make it out of this company without a violation, incident or accident that would be a pro", but the facts do not support your assertion. Also, the "deduction of breakfast" comment is a direct reflection of Atlantic following the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) for government contract reimbursements. A per diem is a reimbursement of costs, not a travel allowance. As a government contractor, we must adhere to the guidelines placed upon us.
