Pros

Working with reliable and helpful co-workers.

Cons

It's exhausting, stressful, and emotionally draining to work for Axos Bank. We have leaders who don't care about us. They give us way more work than we can reasonably handle, and they become disrespectful and abusive when we don't meet their unreasonable expectations. The pressure here is extremely high because the management is apathetic and unreasonable. None of the managers here knows how to teach and guide. They only know how to give out orders.

Our organization operates in a fast paced, performance driven environment where assignments are intentionally challenging and aligned to role scope. We expect leaders and teams to uphold professional standards and use established channels for raising concerns so they can be reviewed. We continually assess workload, resourcing, and support to ensure expectations are clear and manageable.

Pros

Great teammates, great boss, flexible with hours (these may just be within my team, specifically). The team and the company has a clear vision on where they want to go. There are semi-annual bonuses, comprised of cash and stock. I have yet to sell any stock, and so far it has grown in value.

Cons

Promotion was slow in coming, but there were salary increases in between. Bonuses were hard-earned, but no goal was impossible to reach.

Pros

The company’s focus on AI and automation was genuinely valuable. It provided opportunities to learn new skills and stay current with emerging technologies.

Cons

• Workloads were consistently extreme, leaving employees with no real relief or balance • Employees were expected to work excessively long and exhausting hours on a constant basis • Daily expectations were unrealistically high, creating a cycle of stress and disappointment • The environment showed little regard for employee wellbeing or sustainable working conditions • Burnout became a constant risk due to sustained pressure and lack of support • Leadership showed no visible concern for struggling employees and failed to check in or offer help • Communication and support from top leadership were largely absent during periods of high stress • Colleagues were also overwhelmed and overworked, leaving little ability to provide meaningful support • The overall atmosphere created isolation and frustration due to lack of assistance and empathy
